crownebeach	10	For one glorious half, Oregon absolutely pushed Auburn around -- the Ducks dominated field position, and the Tigers needed a crazy series of breaks (that baffling fumble...) just to survive to the half. Oregon was the better team and I'm sticking with that, but they're on thin ice going forward.

While the loss is disappointing for the Ducks and the Pac 12, Oregon looked like they were just about every bit as good as Auburn and the cards just didn't go their way. I will slot them one under the Tigers for now.

chrisb19	17	Per above, Oregon looked great against a very good Auburn team in an outright slugfest. Herbert is one of the best QBs in the nation and he's surrounded by talent. I don't like overcrediting teams for losing games, but 0-1 Oregon still looks better than a bunch of teams that won.

crimsonlaw	20	Oregon really disappointed me this weekend. I knew Auburn would win due to the magic of chaos, but I didn't think the Ducks would give the game away. A dropped TD, a missed FG, and some terrible time management near the end of the game all worked to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I still think they are a talented team, I just now worry about how well coached they are.
