Sadly UCF lost one of their best OOC games of the year, which might be better for all of our consciences since it was looking to be worse of a massacre than the Bama/Ole Miss game. UNC is REALLY bad this year so we wouldn't have learned much about the Knights, but every chance they get on the national stage is better for them to earn a spot in the Playoffs. As always, their destiny is not in their hands since they need higher ranked teams to lose for their shot, but UCF probably has the best odds of any team to finish the year undefeated with how much better they are than their competition.
UCF missed out on another P5 game with UNC this week. This really would have shown us who this UCF team is right now. They still are a top 10 team to me, but I wish they would have played this game.
Unfortunately, the Knights didn't get the opportunity to beat up on P5 punching bag UNC, but they'll have another chance against an ACC team when they take on Pitt.
UCF was like Virginia Tech this weekend -- their game was cancelled and anything we could learn from the Knights by playing a grotesque North Carolina side wouldn't have made the Knights look any more or less capable.
