bretticus33 1 At worst the 2nd most talented team in the country. Anything less than a national title run for Georgia is a failed season. The schedule this season is tougher though, starting with a season opener against Clemson in Atlanta.

Charlemagne42 1 You wanted rat poison, Kirby? Here it is. Georgia is the #1 football team in the country. Everyone expects you to win every game on your schedule. If you do that, it will make us all feel very neutrally. Because we all expected it. If you lose a game, it will surprise us. Your players are respected. They all have promising NFL careers ahead of them and we wish them well. We also respect your fans living their true selves. It takes a great deal of bravery to come out as a furry, especially in the South, but your fans proudly bark their truth and wear no cone of shame. We wish you the very best this season, and just hope everyone can have fun.

coletheredditer 1 Return coach and QB, should be the favorites to win it all, I said that last year and look how that turned out

kamiller2020 1 What makes Georgia the top team for me is I believe they have the 2nd best overall roster combined with the best head coach and best-known commodity at QB(there's a chance Beck is not the best QB by season's end). Carson Beck is a stud and the end of last season showed he's capable of being a top 10 pick in the NFL Draft. While Brock Bowers can't be replaced, Oscar Delp will do the best of anybody in making up the talent gap. Combined with Dominic Lovett's and Arian Smith's return, UGA will have quite a few weapons on the outside. And the transfer of Etienne is going to give the Bulldogs a main bell cow to add onto a solid stable of backs. Defensively, Mykel Williams and Malachi Starks are the standouts but there's quite a few guys on the defense that should hear their names in the NFL draft the next two years. Look for Daylen Everette to have an improved season at CB this season given the amount of talent that returns for the Bulldogs upfront.

Zloggt 1 A bunch of peachy poochies, lead by dat dere Kirbeh, with a bone to pick (haha get it???) against the rest of the FBS after just barely missing out on the Playoff, along with some...offseason legal issues, to put it lightly. But hey, there isn't a rule that says that a Fulmer Cup champion (RIP) CAN'T play football now, hmm?

CriterionCrypt 1 I have Georgia and Ohio State as a very close #1 and #2. What pushed Georgia over the top for me is that while Ohio State is still in the middle of a "QB controversy," Georgia has the top QB in the country.

thatoneguyD13 3 Tier 1. Beck is an elite QB and there's tons of talent. Could very easily be #1.
xX_GIGA_MAN_Xx 3 Really you can put these top three in any order. Georgia still remains one of if not the best programs in the Country. Kirby also still remains one of if not the best coaches in the country. Actually, who can challenge him at this point? Neal Brown did beat him in the offseason twitter poll so I believe my Mayo GOAT is better then him. Anyways. Carson Beck was fine last year, but if that Georgia defense can get a world-beater quarterback then they will be unstoppable.
