Overall Rationale: Haven't done a lot of research for this just like last year's preseason poll but as always, I won't put 2 teams from the same conference in the top 4 because they are my preseason playoff picks.

1 Clemson Tigers I won't be at all surprised if they repeat. Clemson is scary good. Texas A&M and Syracuse are their only threats unless FSU just suddenly turns it around.
2 Alabama Crimson Tide Probably the only team that can keep Clemson from repeating.
3 Ohio State Buckeyes I've been trying to go into this season without any expectations for OSU but while making this ballot, there is still no other B1G team that I have more confidence to be a playoff team than OSU. The passing game will probably take a step back from last year but the rushing game and defense should be improved to make up for it.
4 Oklahoma Sooners
5 Georgia Bulldogs
6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish
7 Florida Gators
8 Texas Longhorns
9 Michigan Wolverines
10 LSU Tigers
11 Washington Huskies
12 Penn State Nittany Lions
13 Texas A&M Aggies
14 Washington State Cougars
15 Oregon Ducks
16 Syracuse Orange They are the only team in the ACC that has even a slight hope of challenging Clemson.
17 UCF Knights I feel like UCF is going to drop off from their recent success soon. I don't know if it will be this season though.
18 Wisconsin Badgers
19 Northwestern Wildcats
20 Iowa State Cyclones
21 Cincinnati Bearcats
22 Boise State Broncos
23 Auburn Tigers Auburn is always one of those teams that is a RNG machine for how good they will be. They are unpredictable.
24 Stanford Cardinal
25 Michigan State Spartans I feel as though this is Dantonio's last chance to have a great season. If he doesn't get MSU to a great season this year, then his best days are probably behind him.
