I think this may be a little high for the Huskers, but they are 4-0 with wins over Oregon and Northwestern. They should pretty easily roll to 7-0 (not that this necessarily means they are good) before playing Wisconsin.
I actually had them jump from 15 to 9 after the Oregon win. That win took a slight hit, but dropping them was also due to other teams playing better opponents this week. Sorry, Huskers.
Tommy Armstrong has really put it together for his senior campaign. I'd like to rank them at 11 but the win over Oregon is looking a bit pedestrian as Oregon continues to tumble. Their win over Northwestern wasn't as close as the score indicated. I'll keep moving the Huskers up by default as long as they keep winning.
Nebraska traveled to Evanston (which is basically a home game) and took out a Northwestern team that has been a thorn in their side since they joined the Big Ten. Thanks to some shoddy kicking by the Cats, Nebraska wasn't in too much danger of losing this game. Not a bad way to start Big Ten play for the Huskers.
