2-0, beating two FBS teams, including dominating a ranked LSU squad. Do I think they are the best in the land?  Nope, but this is based on play on the field. |

I'm not sure if LSU is very good, but starting the year at 2-0 with a blowout of Hawaii and a really nice win over LSU is a great start. UCLA may be the class of the PAC.  |

They thrashed Hawaii, and then dominated the trenches against LSU. Again, will how little we've seen these top spots will switch around a lot in the first few weeks.  |

Well this team is going to absolutely pound the rock in a fun way this year. I feel to many people forgot how much Kelly likes to absolute run the ball down your throat. Defense looked good too. Was down on LSU to begin the year already but UCLA doing it two weeks in a row in such a fashion is a statement. |

I'm mostly putting you here to piss off Georgia. But anyone who has a team that can't score an offensive touchdown at #2 is a moron. You handled your business and if you can beat Oregon and Arizona State you're set for the season. |

LSU probably isn't that good, so UCLA could be anywhere from 5-10 |

Very surprised at the UCLA turnaround. Against a good LSU team too. DTR averaging 14 yards per completion is an impressive statistic. |

Really high on UCLA. They physically dominated LSU. They have the potential to be a playoff contender.  |

Computer rank 11. No adjustment. This team's results were counted more strongly than other teams compared to their expectations as a result of them starting in week 0. |

Preseason rankings of Pac 12 teams always seem more wrong than other conferences. After week 1, UCLA sits at 2-0 with wins over Hawaii and LSU. They get a week off before facing Fresno state and then diving into conference play. |

Its only sissy if you say so.... and boy did UCLA get the last laugh. While I am not sure they have the talent to rise too much further Chip Kelly has the pieces in place to be dangerous to anyone that throws gumbo in their face. |

Perhaps the best
team in the Pac-12 so far, which isn't saying much. It'll be much easier to
compare them to Oregon after this weekend, in which they will play Fresno
State. |

After a "worse than the score indicated" performance over Hawaii in Week 0, Chip Kelly and the Bruins erased most of my doubt with a "better than the score indicated" win over a then ranked LSU team 38-27. DTR passed ok but ran great and Michigan transfer RB Zach Charbonnet was unstoppable. This is a UCLA team that should be able to run with ease and could challenge USC in the South. |
