2 Ole Miss Rebels Wins against LSU and Louisville. Best resume.
3 Georgia Bulldogs Consistent, dominant wins over teams they should be dominant against.
4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Run game is iffy but they’ve handled their opponents. 2 P4 wins and a dominant win against a G6 team.
5 Miami Hurricanes Dominant in their games up until this week. Still played well, ranking them below ND for playing FAMU instead of a G6 team.
6 Ohio State Buckeyes Dominant wins over teams they should beat. 1 point loss in a pick em against Texas. Not gonna knock them too much over that.
7 Texas Tech Red Raiders They look suspect. Houston is a good team, but that Oregon State game looks alarming.
8 USC Trojans Defense is trash. But they’ve can score with the best of them.
9 LSU Tigers Good win against Clemson but they dropped because of the Ole Miss loss.
10 Indiana Hoosiers Should really be knocking them down a little for playing three straight G6 teams but they’ve been dominant in those games so ranking them here.
11 Utah Utes Blowing out teams they should be.
12 Louisville Cardinals Very underrated resume. Close loss to Ole Miss, who just beat LSU. Win over SMU who is definitely a top team in the ACC.
13 BYU Cougars Good wins, not great but good
14 Florida Gators Very good win over Auburn. Only test on their schedule though.
15 Iowa Hawkeyes Their defense is incredible. Offense is still up in the air like always.
16 Mississippi State Bulldogs Dominant win over a good Minnesota team. Great win over SC. Very underrated team.
17 Alabama Crimson Tide Game against FSU is alarming but they escaped.
18 Penn State Nittany Lions Similar to Indiana, played cupcakes.
19 Pittsburgh Panthers Good wins, not great but good wins.
20 Tennessee Volunteers Only real win was against GT who lost to Colorado. So average looking resume
21 Michigan Wolverines Oklahoma is helping them tremendously. They did what they needed to against UTEP.
22 Missouri Tigers Troy is a good G6 team. Kansas is average. Missouri is decent
23 SMU Mustangs That FSU win looks better considering how FSU played against Bama. Loss in a banger of a game with Lville whose only loss is to Ole Miss. That loss isn’t that big of a deal at the moment.
24 Washington Huskies Apple Cup is always tough so I won’t knock them too much for not winning by more. One of the better QBs in the nation, beating Minnesota can make them jump a bit
25 Oklahoma Sooners Loss to Michigan hurts but it doesn’t hurt that much. Barely beating New Mexico is eye opening.
