Overall Rationale: This early in the season, its all gut feeling and first impressions. Team will jump all over the place of the next few weeks. Dropped: LSU (8), Clemson (10), Iowa (20), UTSA (23), South Carolina (25) First 5 out: Iowa, Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Cincinnati

7 Florida State Seminoles (+4) I'm liking what I'm seeing so far but I want to see it sustained before I trust Florida St in the Top 5. They'll have to wait till another team faults

13 North Carolina Tar Heels (+9) This is the biggest jump on my poll this week. The win over South Carolina showed that I was undervaluing the Tar Heels in my preseason poll. This is me correcting that mistake.

15 Oregon State Beavers (+3) These Angry Beavers are my darkhorse PAC-12 Champs pick
16 Wisconsin Badgers (+3)
17 Texas Longhorns (+4) Okay I'll move them up a little bit but don't think I've bought into them. Being a Fan-In-Law means I get the benefit of an outside prospective and I ain't blindly buying into Bevo until they beat someone worthwhile. This school fails too often with so much talent.
18 Tulane Green Wave (-1) I swear I try to uplift the little guys. Its just a temporary scooch back a bit. I'll make it up to the G5 nation, I promise.
19 Duke Blue Devils (N/A) The Devil went down to Clemson and had themselves a time
20 Colorado Buffaloes (N/A) Alright Deon that was pretty good. Get on up here and talk all the smack you deserve.
21 Oklahoma Sooners (N/A) Yeah I don't like them but you gotta respect the beat down.
22 TCU Horned Frogs (-10) No the longest fall (*cough* LSU, Clemson *cough*) but still quite the tumble. I'm sure they will right the ship in time for conference play.
23 Ole Miss Rebels (N/A)
24 Maryland Terrapins (+1) Lotta team jump them but they just keep paddling and I'll keep them on here.
25 Wyoming Cowboys (N/A) Well howdy Cowboys. Loved their effort at the end of the Texas Tech game, especially from their QB Peasley. Reminded me of Mux Duggan last year just giving everything he had to will TCU to the National Title Game. They wont be here long but they deserve some recognition.
