Overall Rationale: My poll is a computer poll starting in Week 4. These are just my guesses of how good teams are based on what I've gleaned from season previews and off-season news. My computer rankings are running in the background during the first three weeks, but I don't publish them because they are useless early on. Once they go live in Week 4, my gut rankings disappear and mean nothing (well, even more nothing than they do right now). So don't stress if you see something egregious here. It'll be gone ere long.
