Most Talent, Best Coach*Note: My poll is really fluid the first few weeks. I don't like the idea that preseason polls dictate how teams are ranked throughout the year, so I'm never opposed to blowing my poll up after Week 1. It's a fine line between being overreactionary and letting the preseason poll set the tone too much. I like to give weight to teams with the best wins, so for example FSU could jump up to #1 after beating Ole Miss, and Ole Miss could jump up to #1 after beating FSU.  |
