admiraltarkin Ballot for 2016 Preseason

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Aug. 21, 2016, 4:43 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Two words. Nick. Saban
Oklahoma Sooners Honestly, probably the most complete team in the nation. A seasoned QB, great RB, strong defense. Very good argument for #1. If they beat UH and Bama struggles against USC, I'll probably move em up to #1
Clemson Tigers
Florida State Seminoles
Michigan Wolverines
Stanford Cardinal
Michigan State Spartans
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Houston Cougars
LSU Tigers Would be higher if they had a QB. It remains to be seen if Harris can not be terrible this year. If he is simply not terrible (let alone good), they'll be a 10+ win team this year
Tennessee Volunteers
Ohio State Buckeyes tOSU loses so much that I find it hard to believe it'll just be a continuation of the dominance. I'm expecting 2+ losses this year. If they can beat/be competitive with OU they will probably run the table
USC Trojans
Washington Huskies
Louisville Cardinals
TCU Horned Frogs
Oklahoma State Cowboys
Georgia Bulldogs
Baylor Bears
UCLA Bruins
Oregon Ducks
Ole Miss Rebels I'm very bearish (no pun intended) on the Rebels this year. Losing 3 1st round draft picks is hard to come back from (see: Texas A&M 2014). They return Chad Kelly, but I don't really see him carrying the team alone. I see 9 wins for Ole Miss this year
Wisconsin Badgers
Texas A&M Aggies One of the best WR units in CFB. One of the best Dlines in CFB. An excellent secondary. The only question marks are LB and OL. QB should be serviceable and RB should be good.
Nebraska Cornhuskers A strong finish paired with losing by razor thin margins last year, combined with a fairly easy schedule should set them up for success this year. 9 regular season wins is the expectation
