Sellers absolutely beat Clemson on his own the way he played that game the amount of times he just completely escape from everything Clemson did it only reinforces that really good season from the gamecocks now it’s time to hope and pray that enough teams lose for them to jump into the playoffs. If only they knew to throw stuff on the field to overturn bad calls. |

(9-3) - South Carolina is making a last minute bid for the playoff, but in my estimation with three losses it won't be enough to into the pool of at-large teams. Still, they can hang their hat on winning the Palmetto Bowl and putting together a pretty good season. I have the Gamecocks ranked behind Alabama given the head-to-head loss earlier in the year and the comparable strength of record. Quality wins: Texas A&M, @Missouri, @Clemson |

South Carolina takes down Clemson in a stunner and caps off a good season. A slightly easier schedule and the gamecocks may have made the playoffs |

LW: 16 Now it really isn't their fault when they get left out. I always said Clemson wasn't that good so beating them is not a big deal to me. They have 3 wins over top 30 teams and all their losses have come to that or Refball. If they had 2 losses, they'd be in. Unfortunately for them they're stuck behind a team that crushed them on the road. SEC really shot itself in the foot. |

Tough to rank. Probably the 1 SEC team that has impressed with wins. One of the hotter teams right now. Yes they lost to Bama & Ole Miss, but SC doesn't have the horrendous losses like them. Still undeserving IMO, but if I was forced to pick 1 3 loss SEC team (outside of UGA if they lose) it would be SC. |

(+2) South Carolina has finished the season 6-0 and looks as good as anybody over the back half of the year. Sellers is one of the most electric players in the FBS and the defensive line is fantastic. It seems like each team in the #9-#18 region has an argument to be in the playoff. |
