2 Washington Huskies 2nd best undefeated team...obvious really
3 Florida State Seminoles if 13-0 FSU doesn't make it into the playoffs, just get rid of the entire sport.
4 Texas Longhorns unfortunately, texas is back
5 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama did all they could do, but needed results to go their way. No SEC in the playoffs for the first time
6 Georgia Bulldogs unlucky. #6. try again next year
7 Ohio State Buckeyes Kinda fucking over Oregon because they had to play in a championship game, but its my poll, so who cares? I think they're better
8 Oregon Ducks that is not to say that Oregon isn't good. An 8 team playoff would go insane this year. anyone in the top 8 could win it (except maybe FSU (due to injuries))
9 Missouri Tigers Transitioning from the "Elite" to the "very good" portion of the rankings. Best of the rest.
10 Penn State Nittany Lions I wanna see a 4 team playoff between Missou, PSU, OU, and Ole Miss. all very solid teams that i can't really differentiate.
11 Oklahoma Sooners have them 3rd in this "group" because they lost to Kansas LOL
12 Ole Miss Rebels I don't have any real justification for this. I just have a distaste for SEC teams. idk
13 Arizona Wildcats A very good team, and will make significant noise next year. B12 contender right off the bat
14 LSU Tigers an ultimately disappointing year. next year depends entirely on what they get at QB
15 Notre Dame Fighting Irish weirdly similar to LSU...?
16 NC State Wolfpack very solid at the end of the year. pop-tart bowl? maybe?
17 SMU Mustangs Best G5 team, in a just world they get the NY6 bowl bid over Liberty
18 Louisville Cardinals just a kind of sad way to end it. just kinda withered away and died. no real fight in the conference champ. oh well, its just year 1, if their coach can recruit well they could take over the ACC

20 Oregon State Beavers MWC powerhouse OSU DEMOLISHES P5 opposition in their bowl game?
21 James Madison Dukes i think the program will be fine without Cignetti, but it depends on what they get at coach next year. boom-or-bust hire, could define whether they could move up to the American?
22 Tulane Green Wave disappointing. hopefully Fritz doesn't go to UH. if he stays he could make Tulane a perennial NY6 contender

24 Oklahoma State Cowboys just kinda laid over and died against texas.? this program is such an enigma....
25 Tennessee Volunteers unfortunately could not leave them out because there was nobody left to be ranked
