Overall Rationale: I think eye test is more important than just blindly rewarding teams for not losing. Not all conferences are equal and not even all schedules inside conferences are equal (see Iowa in the big 10 champ game for example). Thank god most of the conference divisions are going away after this year. For those of you saying FSU deserves in because they didnt lose, you better have Liberty at #4 over since all that matters is winning. Doesnt matter who you beat or how, just win.

Pretty crazy you win 2 titles in a row, 29 straight games, and then dont make the playoff with 1 loss in your conference champ game. Was a stacked field this year wish we had 12 team playoff. I wouldnt be surprised in a 12 team playoff (if they got healthy) if they would come back and win it after learning from the bama loss. |
