JetoGrov Ballot for 2023 Week 4

Overall Rationale: Trying to do a resume-based poll, I try (as much as a lil man can) to create the poll fresh from scratch each week. There've only been three (or four for some) weeks this year so any team with a loss is not getting ranked at this point. That's mostly just to make things easier for myself when sorting between teams but also, I mean if you're 2-1 then get out of here, you don't deserve to be ranked. I count 39 undefeated teams at the moment, so which 14 will be left out?? Mostly ranking teams by who has the best win(s) and who has played more P5>G5>FCS. This season is going to be a wild one, I can feel it!

1 Florida State Seminoles Sure they almost lost to BC, but I'm going to invoke Red Bandana shenanigans for that game. The win over LSU looks better after the bayou bengals manhandled MSU, and Texas' win over Bama looks worse a week removed. Thus the Noles climb back into the top spot.
2 Texas Longhorns Like I said in the Fla State blurb, the win over Bama doesn't look quite like the "Best Win of the Season" anymore...still a great win, and the Tide will probably go 10-2 but for now the Horns slide down to the #2 spot.
3 North Carolina Tar Heels Maybe the best (which isn't saying much but still) three game slate that anyone has played thus far. Lacks the Major win of a Texas/FSU but UNC has pretty much won the Music City Bowl (by beating SCar and Minnesota) And defeated a feisty App State team that clearly had the UNC game circled.
4 Colorado Buffaloes The wheels may be starting to fall off...turns out O-line's are important, who knew? I can't blame Deion, I play NCAA the same way...recruiting lineman is boring. Still though, a win @TCU, over Nebraska, and against a Rams team that could make some noise in the MWC is an impressive resume at this point in the season. Buffs stay in the Top 5.
5 Duke Blue Devils The win over Clemson places Duke #5...nothing else to add besides that
6 Miami Hurricanes I probably (read: definitely) overvalue TxA&M, and thus overvalue the win over them...but I don't know, I had high hopes for the Aggies this year and watched the entirety of their game with Miami...and whew, the way the Canes handled them...I'm keeping them Top 10
7 Utah Utes As far as my poll goes the biggest winner from Florida "upsetting" Tennessee is Utah. That win, plus the one @Baylor cement the Utes with the best resume in the PAC-12 at this moment
8 Penn State Nittany Lions Road conference win, and a win over West Virginia. Best resume in the B10...until maybe this week *eyes emoji*
9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish The win @NCST is impressive, the fact that they have more wins than anyone else is sort of impressive. How much hope is in South bend right now? How mad am I at cashing out of my 30-1 ND Natty ticket? Not too mad, but it's looking way better than it did. If things break the right way this weekend, the Irish might be my number 1 team next week *eyes emoji*
10 BYU Cougars I don't really know how good Arkansas is, but at this point in the year a win @Ark gets you a Top 10 resume
11 Ole Miss Rebels Wins @Tulane and over GaTech, I LOVE mocking the rebs for being overrated and a clear beneficiary of SEC bias....but with the way the SEC looks this year, they might actually end up winning the West (*whispers* and I still don't think they're that good)
12 Washington Huskies Look, if I was doing this solely on eye test and who looks the best then UW would be my number 1 team...they've been amazing through three weeks. Boise St, Tulsa, and @MichiganState doesn't really do it for me though, could probably have them above BYU and Ole Miss in my rankings but it's okay, it'll work itself out.
13 Washington State Cougars Cougs, the only reason I have UW ranked ahead of you is because you've played an FCS school and they haven't. I'm sorry and we're all pulling for you.
14 Louisville Cardinals I dunno, this is probably too high. 2 P5 wins is all I can say.
15 Oregon Ducks Win at Lubbock is good, that's all. Good luck this week!
16 Missouri Tigers 61 YARDS!!!! AHHHHHH COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS SOOOOO GOOD
17 Fresno State Bulldogs yeah, I'm surprised that they're still here too...but can't deny two P5 road wins
18 Georgia Bulldogs Well look who it is, two-time defending national champion UGA finally cracks the rankings with a....uh....unenthusiastic win over SCar...yeah sure, this year is going to be fun!
19 Oklahoma Sooners Made Butch Jones cry.
20 Kansas Jayhawks Yooooo no one saw cause it was late, but KU almost messed around and lost to Nevada. The win over Illinois still looks fine though.
21 Iowa Hawkeyes Sure, whatever. Iowa ranked #21 where they belong for eternity.
22 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Three wins over three FBS teams, congrats!
23 Syracuse Orange Easy win in West Lafayette...that's all
24 USC Trojans PLAY A P5 TEAM DAMMIT!!!! NO!!! STANFORD DOESNT COUNT!!
25 UCLA Bruins PLAY A P5 TEAM DAMMIT!!!!....oh you're playing Utah this week? Have fun with that
