Overall Rationale: Strength of resume, primarily on losses. The poll is finally starting to stabilize into something more rational.

1 Duke Blue Devils Finally, the Blue Devils are #1. Somehow, my model is more stuck in the past than me and loves the quality of that Clemson win, with nothing to take it down after a solid win against Northwestern. Next up, a trip to Storrs to play a 0-3 UConn, with hopes to see 4-0 Duke vs Notre Dame.
2 Colorado Buffaloes Unimpressive performance against CSU, but didn't lose and retains a top spot.
3 Georgia State Panthers Won against some FBS teams? They really skyrocketed after a good win against Charlotte for some reason.
4 Texas Longhorns Texas kicks Wyoming to the curb and claims a playoff spot... for now.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State finally played somebody and well.
6 Florida State Seminoles Disgusting performance, but FSU is still liked.
7 USC Trojans USC doing what it does.
8 Ole Miss Rebels Wins against Tulane and Georgia Tech easily make them the current best of the SEC.
9 BYU Cougars Win against Arkansas and a better looking win against Sam Houston rises BYU up here.
10 UCLA Bruins Nothing impressive, but momentum catapults them up.
11 Oklahoma Sooners More solid performances.
12 Utah Utes Utah finally gets a break and rises when others fall.
13 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Not impressive, but they have been doing their job against a decent schedule thus far.
14 Washington Huskies Honestly looks playoff caliber, but the destruction of their opponents actually hurts them a bit.
15 Washington State Cougars Solid.
16 Notre Dame Fighting Irish See Washington.
17 Missouri Tigers Beating Kansas State does this.
18 Syracuse Orange Solid wins.
19 Iowa Hawkeyes Solid wins, offense actually showed up... against WMU.
20 Penn State Nittany Lions See Washington.
21 Air Force Falcons Great performance thus far, seems like they are in for a similar performance to last year.
22 Michigan Wolverines Play better opponents and maybe the model will know what Michigan is.
23 Miami Hurricanes Just the same.
24 Maryland Terrapins Played nobody thus far, but hey got here.
25 Kansas Jayhawks Solid against Illinois, wobbly against Nevada. Secure last spot.
