Ballot Type: Human
Submitted: Sept. 10, 2023, 9:52 a.m.
Overall Rationale: My ranking is a combination of expected results in hypothetical games against other ranked teams, as well as the actual wins and losses resume each team has, leaning more heavily on the latter as the season progresses. I approach the rankings as though there is a "true" ranking of teams and every week reveals more data. It's never perfect but by the end of the season there is a large enough data set that I can confidently conclude who the best teams are. I use FPI and other models for reference, but this is a human poll.

Win over UVA not as good after their loss, and struggled a bit with Austin Peay in the first half. |
