1	Georgia Bulldogs	Unquestionably the number 1 team in the nation. Smothered an electric Tennessee offense, and blowing out Oregon Game 1, while Oregon has improved, is still huge. They have the Dog in them. Literally.
2	Michigan Wolverines	After a weird first half against Rutgers, they absolutely pulled away. Feels like splitting hairs between them and Ohio State, but have to reward them for doing their job.
3	Ohio State Buckeyes	A win's a win and winning tough road games shouldn't be looked down upon. But at the same time there seems to be legitimate cracks heading into the stretch run and after struggling against Northwestern I can't in good faith keep them above Michigan. Still, easily a top 3 team in the country.
4	TCU Horned Frogs	They keep winning. In many ways it feels like a Houdini act, but going undefeated this long in a Power 5 conference cannot be punished.
5	Tennessee Volunteers	There's no question they got smothered. Still, they have a strong resume and have a clear path to 11-1. If some funky stuff happens they deserve to still be in the race.
6	Oregon Ducks	They keep winning, and are still the class of the Pac 12. I split hairs ranking them below Tennessee admittedly. But based on the data points we do have, I think Tennessee has a stronger resume.
7	UCLA Bruins	I think there's a gap between Oregon and UCLA, but with so much chaos happening, I can't in good faith rank UCLA lower than 7th.
8	LSU Tigers	Well... maybe the committee wasn't on drugs when they ranked LSU Top 10. After a slow start, they are certainly finding another gear each successive week. This year's LSU is the type of team the 12 team system will reward, because if we had it this year nobody would be wanting to play LSU in the first round.
9	Alabama Crimson Tide	Oh boy. Still, 4 point combined losses on the road is something you can forgive them for purposes of ranking them in the Top Ten. and I can't rank them below some of the other teams
10	Utah Utes	Just an all around solid team. Man do they wish they could have Week 1 back.
11	Ole Miss Rebels	Still a one loss team at this point, so I think they should be ranked top 10. That game against Alabama looms large for their further hopes.
12	USC Trojans	I can't in good faith keep them top 10 after that Cal game.
13	North Carolina Tar Heels	Quietly a one loss team emerging out of Coastal chaos. Drake Maye is a sleeper Heisman, and he should get votes for carrying that defense and this team.
14	Clemson Tigers	Oh boy. I did respect their resume but with their ranked wins becoming weaker and just laying an egg against an inconsistent Notre Dame team, they have been punished severely.
15	Tulane Green Wave	They keep winning, and a momentous date against UCF should be exciting.
16	Penn State Nittany Lions	Quietly a solid team that wasn't better than Ohio State or Michigan in the end. I think this spot is fair.
