1 Georgia Bulldogs Beat Tennessee, Oregon extremely convincingly even if they have played weak against some teams. Show up when it matters. The defending champions at the top, who would have guessed!
2 TCU Horned Frogs Still undefeated, if they beat Texas they probably easily stay here until B12 championship game unless my Cyclones play spoiler.
3 Michigan Wolverines Looked horrid, but picked up where OSU failed to against a better Rutgers. Only time will tell.
4 Tennessee Volunteers Lost only to #1, even if dominating.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Northwestern looked horrible. Weather yes, but still 1-7 Northwestern. Surely a team with their talent can get a better win.
6 Oregon Ducks Georgia fluke loss magnitude, good against everyone else.
7 Tulane Green Wave Southern Miss loss still so weird. Beat multiple decent to good teams.
8 UCLA Bruins Bad loss to higher ranked Ducks.
9 USC Trojans Looked worst against Utah, tie break against UCLA.
10 Liberty Flames Taken care of business (almost) everywhere needed. Beat Arkansas, barely lost to Wake. Trust me, I wish they were worse.
11 North Carolina Tar Heels The worst 1-loss team. Should have lost against my Blue Devils and so many more. Fluke loss to Notre Dame. Still, results speak, otherwise I can't rank TCU so high.
12 LSU Tigers Beat Alabama, barely beat by FSU and quality loss to Vols.
13 Ole Miss Rebels Head to head, LSU.
14 Clemson Tigers Just looked beatable lately, Notre Dame loss and Syracruse (shoulda lost) too great.
15 Penn State Nittany Lions Most impressive two loss team, only losses come to undefeated, otherwise dominant. Played well against OSU.
16 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers 8-1, but played nobody. Lost badly to ODU, no dominant victories.
17 Troy Trojans Only losses to ranked and great Ole Miss and clutch loss to App State. No defining wins.
18 UCF Knights Takes care of business. Loss to Louisville and ECU bad, but both are inconsistent and underrated.
19 Utah Utes Accidentally forgot they existed last week. Beat USC, Florida loss bad, UCLA loss permissible.
20 NC State Wolfpack Barely beat ECU and Virginia Tech. Permissible losses to Clemson and Syracuse. No great wins.
21 Alabama Crimson Tide Played close all season, luck turns them into an undefeated but the Alabama effect is gone for now.
22 Washington Huskies Permissible loss to UCLA, not so much against Arizona St. Alright win against OSU.
23 South Alabama Jaguars Barely lost to higher ranked UCLA and Troy. Gets you here.
24 UTSA Roadrunners This team is weird. Three teams in overtime, barely lost to Houston and lost to Texas. Somewhat permissible, but rankings support the roadrunners thus far.
25 Cincinnati Bearcats Taking care of business after losing to a decent UCF and Arkansas.
