Utah went into a crazy road environment on the opposite side of the country, played them down to the wire and had a chance to win in the final seconds. That final turnover was brutal, but I feel confident about Utah being roughly as good as a top-10 team when factoring in location, it being the first game of the season, etc. |

I loved Notre Dame's first half, and was pleasantly surprised by how Buchner performed early. Hated the second half, especially the fourth quarter, where it felt like Notre Dame was playing just to keep it close rather than to win. At the end of the day, they lost on the road to a likely playoff team by two possessions, which is not exactly a terrible loss. |
