1 Georgia Bulldogs The defending national champions just shellacked the #11 team in the nation 49 to 3. F o r t y n i n e t o t h r e e. They deserve first till proven otherwise.
2 Alabama Crimson Tide alabama
3 Ohio State Buckeyes OSU beat the #5 team while hosting a second half shutout. Early season rust aside, this team is very talented.
4 Michigan Wolverines 51-7 beatdown of CSU aside, Michigan is a top-to-bottom team. Deep lines, great RB room, improved Secondary. As the defending B1G Champs, I think a top 4 slot is fair, unless they start looking like garbage.
5 Clemson Tigers If DJ is their QB for any more this season this place won't hold.
6 Texas A&M Aggies Meh. Hosted a shutout. Solid enough to keep place and not move around too drastically.

8 Baylor Bears The last time a beatdown this badly occurred in Waco, the ATF was involved.
9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Good outing for Marcus Freeman, but the offense remains a serious concern going into the season.
10 Florida Gators They had one mediocre season under Dan Mullen. ONE. All of the sudden they're not good anymore? ok
11 Arkansas Razorbacks pigs
12 Michigan State Spartans A weirdly close outing against Western for a second there, but a solid victory in the end. Defensive injuries are a bitch, though.
13 Pittsburgh Panthers A great comeback win against a bitter rival. Maybe they're good, maybe they're shit, maybe they're pitt, - either way, I think a top 15 slot is fair for now.
14 Wisconsin Badgers Graham Mertz still sucks, good win tho
15 Oklahoma State Cowboys The lack of defensive pressure in the second half nearly costed the Cowboys the game. They allowed 44 points in all. Against a MAC team. A slight drop, but harshly penalizing for wins seems unfair (ignore my future hypocrisy)

22 Kentucky Wildcats Grimy win against the Redhawks. 22 seems fair.
23 Minnesota Golden Gophers I hate the fact that they were unranked. Never doubt the Golden Gophers, - they're going to Indy this year.
24 UCLA Bruins I really don't anyone's reading this, BUT, if you are, become a UCLA truther with me. Yada yada Chip Kelly can't recruit yada yada. Who cares? Recruiting is for nerds? He inherited a dumpster fire of a team and has improved the record every single year, going 8-4 last year. You might say to yourself "but they were down 17-7 to fucking Bowling Green" - and you'd be wrong. Well you're right, but it's only because of three extremely flukey turnovers to start the game. They then proceeded to go on a 38-0 scoring run, win 45-17, and outgained BG in yards 626-162. This team has a star QB and RB, a solid OLine, and a much more disciplined defense. Now look at their schedule, - it's piss. I see an easy 10-2 run in their future. UCLA will be good this year, mark my words
25 Penn State Nittany Lions Beating a good Purdue team on the road is good. I'd rank them higher but I'm scared
