1 LSU Tigers Ranked #1 because they had the best performance against the strongest opponent this week.
2 Auburn Tigers The score was much closer than the game felt, but UW is either the best or second best team out of the PAC-12 so Auburn is rewarded with the #2 spot.
3 Virginia Tech Hokies Pummeled what should be a decent but not great FSU team.
4 West Virginia Mountaineers Destroyed Tennessee hearts and souls on the road.
5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Tennessee might be better than Michigan this year, which is why I'm ranking this win at home below the Noter Damer victory at home.
6 Northwestern Wildcats Beat a game Purdue team with a dude at WR on the road.
7 Maryland Terrapins Texas isn't bad, but probably still better than any of the other teams that were beat by the teams I have ranked below MD.
8 Ohio State Buckeyes A little worrisome that the Beavs were able to score early in this game, but overall, great job by the Buckeyes.
9 Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors Two and Oh against a (turns out to be bad) G5 team and what will be a decent Navy team. Only 2-0 team so far, got to be top 10.
10 Alabama Crimson Tide Dominating win over a solid G5 team on a neutral site.
11 Oklahoma Sooners Made a decent G5 team look bad at home.
12 Stanford Cardinal Nice redemption win over a good G5 school.
13 Boise State Broncos Beat what should be a decent G5 team on the road.
14 Oregon Ducks Nice win over a G5 at home.
15 UCF Knights Beat a not great G5 on the road.
16 Iowa Hawkeyes Nice win against a decent G5.
17 USC Trojans Didn't look amazing against a bad G5 team.
18 Wisconsin Badgers Beat a bad G5 team at home. Good job.
19 Michigan State Spartans Struggled against a bad G5.
20 Penn State Nittany Lions LOL
21 Oklahoma State Cowboys Beat up on an FCS school, good job.
22 Clemson Tigers Demolished an FCS team...which they should. You don't make my top ten in week 1 for beating up on little kids.
23 Georgia Bulldogs Good job beating the crap out of an FCS team.
24 TCU Horned Frogs Beat FCS at home. woo.
25 Mississippi State Bulldogs Beat FCS at home. woo.
