Overall Rationale: This poll is a hybrid computer/human poll. I highly value on-the-field results, so priority is given to the following categories, in no particular order, when computing the weekly points earned:Opponent team category (P5/G5/FCS), odds, W/L category (MOV weighed against odds line), conference power rating, opponent win/loss ratio, game control (measured in lead changes), and turnover margin.I do NOT rank based on "eye test" or a school's "name brand". The poll will be slightly borked until about three or four weeks in once it gets enough data to build a solid model. For now, this is an approximate poll. Two main issues this week: Nebraska and Iowa State. Both will get points for their 12th game during the week it is rescheduled, but points will not be retroactively added.
