A-Stu-Ute Ballot for 2018 Week 2

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 4, 2018, 11:26 a.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide They have a QB. Everybody be afraid.
Oklahoma Sooners What a crazy drubbing. They were almost my number 1, minus Alabama having a QB.
Clemson Tigers Still looked good, but not as good as the two above them.
Georgia Bulldogs
Ohio State Buckeyes That's a lot of points, but it's still only Oregon State.
Auburn Tigers
Wisconsin Badgers They won, but it wasn't as impressive as the others here in terms of offense, which doesn't mean Wisconsin is bad by any means but we'll see what happens when they face tougher defenses.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
LSU Tigers That was a stout defense, but how much of their stoutness was actually Miami's offensive problems?
Stanford Cardinal
Washington Huskies The Huskies played well, but I think they were over-ranked to begin with by most. I'm keeping them where they were.
USC Trojans
TCU Horned Frogs
UCF Knights I saw nothing to tell me that UCF has taken much of a step back. It may have been UConn, but for a season opener in-conference that was pretty good.
Penn State Nittany Lions
Virginia Tech Hokies
West Virginia Mountaineers
Boise State Broncos If anything was retained from last season, Troy is good. Boise State still drubbed them.
Mississippi State Bulldogs
Michigan State Spartans I know Utah State. They aren't bad. They aren't that good either. Struggling against them isn't best.
Oregon Ducks
Michigan Wolverines
Utah Utes 59 yards allowed, and despite 4 turnovers still managed a 41 straight streak against a FCS playoff-caliber team. Still though, 4 turnovers.
Miami Hurricanes That was pretty inept. Still ranked for this week, but if they don't have the offense sorted soon they're not going to be here any more.
Oklahoma State Cowboys I think I should have had them in to start, but I'm cautious on them. They have a good offense, minus a good QB.
