I would be happy about this season considering they're not a really big football program but I have beef with one guy i've never met from Illinois so I hope this all comes crumbling down over the offseason |

It's not just the Minnesota loss, but the fact that their best win is against Nebraska (#60) that has them here. |

(+1) The Illini take down Northwestern and will finish the season 9-3. Securely at the top of the middle of the B1G, Illinois fans should be optimistic towards the future but a huge gap between still exists between the top of the B1G and the rest. |

Illinois is getting a bad shape because they’re in the big team if they’re in the SEC they’d be up there with South Carolina Ole Miss in Alabama but unfortunately they didn’t beat any of the good Big Ten teams so they’re down here. Mama has had a good season and hopefully they can build up upon this for next year |

[9-3] Beat Northwestern. And Nebraska, and Michigan, and a bunch of bad teams. But they beat them. Except for the ones they lost two (two of which are in the top 5). So not bad. Kudos, Illini! |

(9-3) - Illinois is a solid team. Their loss to a pesky Minnesota team that has caused some other conference teams mild troubles does sting, but being 5th in this year's B1G is a decent showing. Quality wins: N/A |
