1 Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee is my #1 team, with a nice home win over Alabama (7-1) and a really impressive blowout victory over LSU (6-2) in Baton rouge. They also have wins over Florida and Pittsburgh.
2 Clemson Tigers Clemson could make a strong case for #1. They have wins over Syracuse (6-1), Wake Forest (6-1), NC State (5-2) and Florida State (4-3)
3 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia has an impressive blowout victory over Oregon (6-1). They also have a nice win over South Carolina (5-2) who is looking better and better.
4 Michigan Wolverines Michigan is undefeated with their best wins being Penn State (6-1) and Maryland (6-2)
5 TCU Horned Frogs TCU is undefeated and has nice wins over Oklahoma State (6-1), Kansas State (5-2) and Kansas (5-3).
6 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is undefeated but lacks quality wins. Their best win is probably over Notre Dame (4-3). They play Penn State next week.
7 Oregon Ducks Oregon got a really nice win this weekend over UCLA (6-1). They have the tough loss to Georgia to start the year but have looked good since then. They also have a decent win over Washington State (4-3)
8 UCLA Bruins UCLA is 6-1 with a loss to Oregon. They have a really nice win over Utah (5-2) and a win over Washington (6-2).
9 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma State is 6-1 with their only loss to TCU. They have wins over Texas (5-3), Texas Tech (4-3) and Baylor (4-3)
10 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is 6-1 with a close loss to Tennessee. They have wins over Texas (5-3), Mississippi State (5-3) and Arkansas (4-3)
11 USC Trojans USC is 6-1 with a loss to Utah. They have a nice win over Oregon State (6-2) and a win over Washington State (4-3)
12 Utah Utes Utah is 5-2 with losses to Florida and UCLA. They have a very nice win over USC (6-1) and also a win over Oregon State (6-2).
13 LSU Tigers LSU is 6-2 with quality wins over Ole Miss (7-1), Mississippi State (4-3) and Florida (4-3)
14 Syracuse Orange Syracuse is 6-1 with a very close loss to Clemson. They have nice wins over NC State (5-2) and Purdue (5-3)
15 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss is 7-1 with a loss to LSU. They have a nice win over Kentucky (5-2).
16 North Carolina Tar Heels UNC is 6-1 with a loss to Notre Dame. Their best win is probably Duke (5-3). They also beat Appalachian State (4-3)
17 Tulane Green Wave Tulane is 7-1 with wins over Kansas State (5-2), East Carolina (5-3) and Houston (4-3)
18 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State is 6-1 with a loss to Michigan. Best wins are probably Purdue (5-3) and Minnesota (4-3).
19 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Wake Forest is 6-1 but lacking quality wins. best win is probably Florida State (4-3). They have louisville next week but then play NC state, UNC, and Syracuse.
20 Oregon State Beavers Oregon State is 6-2 with wins over Boise State (5-2) and Washington state (4-3). They have a big game with Washington in a couple weeks.
21 South Carolina Gamecocks South Carolina is 5-2 with a nice win over Kentucky (5-2).
22 Kentucky Wildcats Kentucky is 5-2 with a nice win over Mississippi state (5-3)
23 Illinois Fighting Illini Illinois is 6-1 with wins over Minnesota (4-3) and Wisconsin (4-4)
24 Kansas State Wildcats Kansas state is 5-2 with wins over Texas Tech (4-3) and Oklahoma (4-3)
25 Washington Huskies Washington is 6-2 but lacking quality wins.
