Overall Rationale: I tried to go off of who you've beaten, how close were your games, who'd you lose to and how flukey did that loss seem? I tried to erase as much bias as possible and just go off of quality wins and losses. I'm willing to look past a flukey loss if you have quality wins elsewhere against top teams. For example: Washington State beating Wisconsin in Madison and narrowly losing in a great game against Oregon shows that they're deserving of a good placement. BYU beating Baylor despite the bad loss to Oregon shows to me that they should be ranked above Baylor. Baylor does not have a more quality win than them. Despite Oregon's bad loss to Georgia, they've beaten BYU very severely, and now Washington State in a come from behind road game. Shows grit. Kansas State had a bad blunder 2 weeks ago against a bad team, but they bounced back and had a huge win against Oklahoma, proving they deserve to be ranked above Pitt and Wakeforest, teams that look good, but don't have any good wins. Oregon State deserves to be ranked based off of beating a decent Fresno State team, an okay Boise team, and playing USC to the wire in a game they were so close to winning. But because they have no quality wins, just decently good wins, I have them below KSU, Baylor, and WSU. I think Minnesota is also the most slept on team in the country right now, they're looking very good right now and are very efficient on both sides of the ball. I placed them at 11 just above Oregon and Penn State. But they could go even higher in a couple weeks when they square off against Penn State. I also thought about Bama moving above Georgia because both teams have blown out a bunch of teams, but the game that Bama struggled in was against a much better opponent than the game Georgia struggled against this week. But the obvious Georgia win against Oregon keeps them at 1. As Bama has not faced a top 25 team yet, and despite their next two games technically being against two AP top 25 teams, you'd be kidding yourself if you said A&M and Arkansas were anywhere near deserving of a top 30 ranking. A&M beat two of the most over ranked teams of the past 5 years in a row. Arkansas being one of them. A&M, Miami, and Arkansas being ranked so high just goes to show that the AP poll is a popularity contest 90% of the time. Also, addressing no G5 teams in my poll, I really just don't see any G5 teams worth ranking. Cinnci has beaten nobody and has a bad loss, and that's really the only G5 team anyone mentions being near worthy of being ranked.
