RJEP22 Ballot for 2022 Week 5

Ballot Type: Hybrid

Submitted: Sept. 26, 2022, 1:01 p.m.

Overall Rationale: My poll functions as points standings rather than power rankings, awarding opponent adjusted points for each win based on the Massey Ranking Composite. The contenders are starting to rise to the top. Some teams have a strong front end of their schedule (Syracuse, Florida State), which leads to inflated rankings, while Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and others are only now starting to play quality opponents in their loaded conference slate. Expect the cream to continue rising to the top.
