Overall Rationale: So 2022 has gotten...weird. I already figured the race for #4 (assuming OSU, Georgia, and Alabama make the playoff) would be a crowded one, and with ND and Texas A&M losing, it's only gotten more muddled. Lots of low-ranked teams lost this week (last week's #13, #16, #17, #23, and #24 in TERSE went down), opening up space for some new blood to reach the rankings. For the first time in TERSE history, Notre Dame is unranked, and for the first time since 2019, Kansas isn't last in the Big 12! Chaos is upon us.
