They've still got the road win over Nebraska helping them out (which is good for them because that Kansas win isn't pulling any weight anymore), but that wasn't a great performance (particularly on offense) from the Illini. Playing in a whiteout (or quasi-whiteout, or whatever "whiteout energy" is) is never easy, but having less than 50 yards of offense in the entire second half is concerning. A well-timed bye week is followed by a gimme against Purdue and then back-to-back games against the Wolverines and Ducks. |
