Overall Rationale: Composite poll utilizing a weighted system of multiple polls - the average of the 6 BCS computer polls is 33% - ESPN FPI is 34% - An average of 7 other 'auxiliary' polls is the remaining 33% Strive to be as 'data driven' as possible, without human weighting. May adjust methodology as the season goes by if some polls are introducing too many outliers or deviations. - Another note is some polls have delayed release, those polls will be omitted on weeks when they do not have updates. - Rankings may be odd in the early weeks as not enough games have been played.
