( - ) Another dominating blowout win has Ohio State staying as the #1 team in my poll. |

( - ) Clemson escapes with a victory over Syracuse after having to bench DJ Uiagaleilei. This now begins a quarterback controversy, and Clemson didn’t look particularly impressive, but a ranked comeback win is still a ranked comeback win. |

( - ) Alabama took out their frustration on Mississippi State with a 30-6 win. They stay where they were last week. |

(+1) TCU picks up a ranked win against K-State, injuries to K-State aside. That, along with Ole Miss’s loss, brings them up one spot. |
8 |
![]() |
(+3) Oregon had perhaps the most impressive ranked win this week when they beat down UCLA by 15 (and frankly could’ve won by way more). Still can’t put them above TCU who is undefeated. |
9 |
![]() |
(+3) Ranked comeback win at home against Texas brings the Pokes up 3 spots. This along with teams ahead of them losing puts them in this spot. |
10 |

(+3) Admittedly, Boston College is an awful team. However, Wake Forest did what good teams do and beat down one of the worst P5 teams in the country. With their only loss being in OT to Clemson, Wake Forest has an extremely strong résumé. |

(-2) Admittedly, I thought UCLA shouldn’t have been ranked higher than Oregon last week based on the eye test, but their résumé had me put them above Oregon. After getting dominated by Oregon, UCLA falls in the rankings. Still wasn’t as bad of a loss as Penn State had so UCLA stays above the Nittany Lions. Having a 1-0 record against Utah while USC has an 0-1 record against Utah also has me put UCLA above USC. |

(+3) Dominant win over Minnesota has me bringing up Penn State 3 spots from last week (also due to teams in front of them losing). |

(+3) Bye Week |

(-8) One of the biggest fallers this week. They already didn’t have a super impressive strength of schedule thus far, so the blowout loss to an unranked LSU hurts their ranking quite a lot. |
16 |

(-1) One score loss to Clemson doesn’t hurt Syracuse too badly. They still have a nice win over NC State and only have one loss. |

(NEW) Impressive blowout win over Ole Miss has LSU jumping to 19 in my rankings. |

( - ) Bye Week |

(+3) Tulane keeps on winning, and with a couple teams in front of them losing, they move up. |
22 |
![]() |
(-8) Kansas State lost a game where they blew a lead to TCU and that has them falling quite a bit, especially considering Adrian Martinez got hurt which does not look good for them in weeks going forward. Hopefully he is healthy for next week and weeks going forward. The head-to-head loss against Tulane also forces me to put them underneath the Green Wave. |

(+2) Bye Week |

(NEW) NC State back in my rankings after their bye week and Texas and South Alabama’s losses. |
25 |
![]() |
(NEW) South Carolina has a win over #21 Kentucky, and has quietly put together a nice 5-2 record on the year, so they deserve a spot in the Top 25 over a team such as Texas who has three losses. |
