The_Horse_Joke Ballot for 2022 Week 7

Overall Rationale: Didn't have time this week for a full write up on each team, but there are a couple of notable moves I'd say. I put Ohio State as my number 1 team for the first time this season. I've been trying to not be a homer, but after seeing Georgia and Alabama struggle with multiple teams that they should have a breeze with while Ohio State has trampled their (albeit, bad) competition, I had to move OSU up. I'm not sure that they'll win it all, but I'd bet on them before the other teams. 4-12 are basically a crapshoot. I have these teams ranked by who I think would win at a neutral spot right now, but know that this will all be different in just a few weeks. Texas at 13 is my biggest move as I had them previously unranked. "If they had Ewers they'd probably be 6-0 with a win over Alabama" isn't exactly a new take, but it has to be factored in. In my poll you can officially say that Texas is back. 14-22 is another crapshoot. Teams like James Madison, and Coastal Carolina are all undefeated which is very impressive while everybody else has at most 1 loss and I think a lot of them are "forgivable" losses, or at least not as black of a mark as one would think. I do think that Kansas State is the worst of the teams in this list, but 5-1 with being the only 3-0 Big12 team I would find it tough not to rank. 23-25 were tough to pick the final 3. I think that there are a lot of other good teams in that 26-35/40 range, but I think these teams would win the majority of the time they played. 4-2 Utah over 5-1 Cincinnati was probably the toughest pick, but Utah's 2 losses are fairly "forgivable" and they have a couple of good conference wins, where as Cincinnati had a tough time putting away a team like South Florida.
