Overall Rationale: This weeks poll had a few shockers, but overall it wasn’t a huge turnaround like in last weeks poll. Few teams got dropped hard likes of BYU and Baylor, but with Texas convincing win in Dallas in Oklahoma, they made a solid case for being in the Top 20. The #25 spot was between North Carolina and Illinois, and I gave North Carolina the nod since they didn’t lose to a weak team in Indiana like Illinois did, and Nebraska beat Indiana. Lastly, I like to welcome James Madison into my pole and it’s funny now that we have 2 teams in the Sun Belt occupying the Top 25 spot.
