RJEP22 Ballot for 2022 Week 7

Ballot Type: Hybrid

Submitted: Oct. 10, 2022, 3:02 p.m.

Overall Rationale: My poll functions as points standings rather than power rankings, awarding opponent adjusted points for each win based on the Massey Ranking Composite. I can confidently say that all of the contenders outside of Texas are now in the top 25 (the formula doesnt excuse losses just because of injuries). If not for teams playing an uneven amount of games thus far, the ranking would likely look even more accurate when compared to other polls and computer models. Over the next few weeks the BYE weeks will shake out and the true top teams will be left when the dust settles.

Rank Team Reason
