2 Ohio State Buckeyes Still a bit sloppy, but Stroud looked sharper and the bye will help get healthy.
3 Alabama Crimson Tide At some point their luck will run out, though this is still a very tough team.
4 Clemson Tigers
5 Michigan Wolverines
6 USC Trojans
7 Tennessee Volunteers Great win this week. Big test next week.
8 Oklahoma State Cowboys Struggled a bit but Tech is tough. TCU game will be interesting.
9 Penn State Nittany Lions
10 TCU Horned Frogs Tough win on the road, game against Ok St will show if they are a contender or not.
11 Oregon Ducks Another blowout win.
12 Ole Miss Rebels Struggled a bit in the first half but handled Vandy down the stretch.
13 Wake Forest Demon Deacons
14 NC State Wolfpack Pulled out a close one against a decent FSU team.
15 UCLA Bruins Dominant win over Utah. Might not be giving them enough credit. We'll see them against Oregon in a few weeks.
16 Mississippi State Bulldogs Outside of the 4th quarter of the LSU game, this team has been very good.
17 Syracuse Orange Idle, but benefited from losses above them.
18 Kentucky Wildcats Not sure how good the Cats are at this point. Win over Florida isn't bad but they've struggled in other games.
19 Florida Gators Handled Mizzou better than Georgia. Close loss on the road to Tennessee looks pretty good in retrospect.
20 Utah Utes Has looked dominant in their wins, both losses have been against ranked teams on the road. Here seems about right.
21 Kansas Jayhawks Tough loss, but this is still a pretty good team.
22 Texas Longhorns OT loss to Tech and 1 point loss to Bama all that are holding this team back from being top 10.
23 James Madison Dukes Destroyed MTSU, beat Appy on the road, and has handled everyone else they've faced.
24 Tulane Green Wave A few good wins, only black mark is the loss to So Miss.
