Ballot Type: Human

Overall Rationale: Very good games despite few teams dropping out of my poll. Mostly due to the teams either playing ranked opponents or not losing to unranked opponents.
Rank | Team | Reason |

SC got a junk touchdown against Georgia, but the game was basically out of reach for the majority of the contest. |
2 |
![]() |
Dismantled Nebraska after the Huskers first drive. |
3 |
![]() |
Played LA-Monroe and did what they needed to. |
4 |
![]() |
Although they put up a ton of points they also gave up the most points yet this season. |
5 |
![]() |
Easy win over an FCS opponent. |
6 |
![]() |
Dismantled UConn but disappointed they didn't play a P5 non-conference opponent. |
7 |
![]() |
Handled Youngstown State with ease. |
8 |
![]() |
Less than stellar performance against LA Tech. I'm dropping them for now. |
9 |
![]() |
Handled Fresno State, they move into the Top 10. |
10 |
![]() |
GA Tech never stood a chance. |
11 |
![]() |
Got a good win against a Big 12 opponent, Texas Tech (after they won against #25 Houston). I move them up to just outside the Top 10. |
12 |
![]() |
Easy opponent in Akron but they took care of business. |
13 |
![]() |
Destroyed Auburn from start to finish. They climb quickly. |
14 |
![]() |
Good, but expected, win. They move up. |
15 |
![]() |
Great defense by the Aggies kept Miami out of the endzone. They move back into the Top 15. |
16 |
![]() |
They didn't lose, but they also didn't impress against Liberty. |
17 |
![]() |
Again, they didn't lose, but they didn't impress against South Florida. |
18 |
![]() |
A comeback win at Louisville? Florida State suddenly seems real. |
19 |
![]() |
A trap game after an emotional win in Madison was expected. The Cougars took care of business. |
20 |
![]() |
Pummeled MSU and let the defense hold them back the rest of the game. |
21 |
![]() |
One score loss to A&M, but being kept out of the endzone is unfortunate for them. |
22 |
![]() |
A signature win for Oregon to get back into the PAC-12 conversation. |
23 |
![]() |
They stay in because they didn't give up and managed to make it interesting towards the end of the game. |
24 |
![]() |
Pummeled Colorado and is looking like the team to beat in the West. |
25 |
![]() |
Dropped because they shouldn't have been in a position to win on a Hail Mary against Troy in the first place. |
