Overall Rationale: My rationale is based off of a combination of recent consistency, momentum, recruiting (primarily 2-4 years ago) & returning starters / staff.

5 Oregon Ducks I thought Oregon was looking at a potentially great season and would have been looking in on a chance at the playoffs, but out of the teams I think will win their P5 conferences I see Oregon as the most likely to drop an unexpected game.

8 LSU Tigers LSU had an absolutely incredible season last year and it feels almost wrong placing them here, but they've lost basically everyone involved in making that happen as well as Ja'Marr chase opting out of the season. I think Coach O might find a great staff again but it will probably take more time than this year to get a staff working in sync like that again.
