Overall Rationale: I'll be using a combination of Record, MOV and SOS to rank the teams. No last week, no preseason, no perceived quality of teams. This also brings good wins and bad losses into play, but until next week those won't really work. (Also, a note: If I don't respond to your comment in the thread asking about the poll, I probably have the stomach flu and are trying to avoid screen-related stuff altogether. I'm always open to questions about my poll, just /u/ tag me.)

1 Ohio State Buckeyes 2 blowout wins, plus both teams they beat being 1-1 get them to #1. Also, yes, I believe Urban should have been fired.
2 Boise State Broncos 2 blowout wins here too, but since neither of their opponents have beaten an FBS team yet and the wins are by less combined they go down below OSU.
3 Alabama Crimson Tide 2 blowout wins here too, both opponents are 1-1 but have only beaten an FCS opponent. Knocks them into 3rd.
4 Oklahoma Sooners 2 wins over FBS teams by a lot, 1 of those opponents was 1-1, the other was 0-2. They get into the top 5 because of that.
5 Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors Only team at 3-0, 1 win above the rest. Good average MOV too, SOS isn't the greatest but the extra win raises them very high.
6 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma State has 2 40+ point wins, but 1 was against an FCS team, and the other was against an 0-2 team, so they drop below the 3-0 Hawaii team.
7 UCF Knights 2 blowout wins, but not by as much as OKST, and the same problem. 0-2 team and FCS team are their 2 opponents.
8 Wisconsin Badgers 2 31 point wins against FBS opponents. However, WKU lost to an FCS opponent and is 0-2 and New Mexico is 1-1 with a win over an FCS opponent, so they stay here.
9 Vanderbilt Commodores 2 blowout wins against a pair of 1-1 FBS teams with wins against FCS teams. Enough to launch em up to #9.
10 Washington State Cougars 2 solid blowout wins against 1-2 and 0-2 (with the latter having a loss to an FCS team) FBS teams. Launches them into the top 10.
11 Boston College Eagles 2 blowout wins, 1 over 1-2 UMass, the other over FCS Holy Cross. Not quite enough to get to the top 10.
12 Oregon Ducks With 2 blowout wins, 1 was against an FCS team, the other was against 0-2 Bowling Green. Knocks them below BC.
13 TCU Horned Frogs Blowout win against an 0-2 FBS team, blowout win against an FCS team. Nothing too impressive.
14 Missouri Tigers Blowout wins against an FCS team and a 1-2 team. Nothing too interesting.
15 Houston Cougars 2 blowout wins against FBS teams are good, even if they're 1-2 and 0-2. 
16 Penn State Nittany Lions PSU has a blowout win against Pitt and an OT win against App State. Both teams are 1-1. Decided to put them above WVU due to playing 2 FBS teams, despite having to go to OT in one of their games.
17 West Virginia Mountaineers 2 blowout wins, 1 against an FCS team, 1 against a 1-1 FBS team. These explanations are really repetitive. Aaaaah
18 Arizona State Sun Devils Blowout win of an 0-2 team and close win against a 1-1 one. Slightly better than Minnesota.
19 Minnesota Golden Gophers Minnesota has a blowout of an 0-3 team and a close win against a 1-1 team. Okay I guess.
20 NC State Wolfpack Georgia State is 1-1, but the win for them was an escape against an FCS team, so it's not as good as other 1-1 wins. Also their other win was against an FCS team, only by 11. So they're down here.
21 Stanford Cardinal 2 2 TD+ wins against 1-1 teams launch them up to here.
22 Duke Blue Devils Duke also has 2 2 TD+ wins against 1-1 teams.
23 Colorado Buffaloes Colorado has 2 wins over FBS teams, a blowout win over a 1-2 team and a close win over an 0-1 team. 2 pretty unusual records for this time in the season, eh?
24 Iowa Hawkeyes Blowout win against an 0-2 team, 2 score win against an 0-1 one. Not good enough to get higher.
25 Maryland Terrapins They have a blowout win against an 0-2 team and a 5 point win against a 1-1 team. Eh.
