RatherBeYachting Ballot for 2018 Week 3

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 10, 2018, 1:05 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama.
Wisconsin Badgers Looking like I expected them to look.
Clemson Tigers Tough game against A&M, but they are still the class of the SEC.
Georgia Bulldogs Quality win, but not worth bumping them over Clemson or Wisconsin
Oklahoma Sooners Impressive performance against a down team, looking like the clear B12 favorite.
Ohio State Buckeyes We'll know more about them after TCU.
Auburn Tigers That SEC West is going to be brutal yet again.
Stanford Cardinal Was tempted to move them up after dominating USC's offense, but will have to wait and see before they can get a big bump.
Virginia Tech Hokies That win against Florida State is looking less impressive.
West Virginia Mountaineers Great QB and WRs, will it be enough to challenge a more talented Oklahoma team for the conference?
Penn State Nittany Lions Will we see the end of tOSU's dominance of the conference this season? Penn State has a chance, still unimpressed by that App State close call.
TCU Horned Frogs Gary Patterson is a great coach, but if they can beat Ohio State I'll have to move them wayyyy up.
LSU Tigers Good defense, the offense I can't judge until I see more.
UCF Knights Looking like the class of the G-5 again.
Washington Huskies Very stale offensively against an FCS foe, had to score 21 fourth quarter garbage time points to make it look like a P-5/FCS game result.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish A Notre Dame fan didn't think I was being fair to them for criticizing their 2.8 rushing average against a touch Michigan defense. Asked if I would be impressed if they rushed for 400 yards against Ball State. I would have been impressed, except they averaged 2.9 YPC again. Brandon Wimbush now has 1 TD and 4 INTs on the year.
Mississippi State Bulldogs Don't know much about them yet, but it looks like this is the SEC's dark horse.
Oregon Ducks Destroyed an FCS foe and looking better than I expected. Huge match-up coming up with Stanford.
Oklahoma State Cowboys Better than I expected.
Boise State Broncos UCF's main competition for that NY6 bowl.
Arizona State Sun Devils Hey, I'm one of the few people who didn't think Herm was going to bomb. Painful game to watch, Manny Wilkins overthrew everything he could, but ASU's defense looks to be the real deal.
Kentucky Wildcats Beating Florida for the first time in my lifetime gets this. Happy to see Touchdown Terry looking good.
Utah Utes Hard to tell how good they are, but looking like the Pac-12 South has a few contenders instead of one.
Houston Cougars Absolutely dismantled a P-5 team and has one of the nation's best players, deserves recognition.
Iowa Hawkeyes I wasn't sure whether to have Michigan on here, or Miami, or USC. Texas A&M, Colorado, and Maryland were also considered, but I gave the nod to an undefeated team that has only given up 10 points in two games and just won a rivalry game.
