Overall Rationale: I think that Bama, FSU, and 0hio State are about the only sure things at this point. Every one else has a question mark or ten in my mind. I, along with a lot of others it seems, are drinking the USC flavor-aid. But I want to see them not be mediocre early. The same goes for Auburn. I will admit that Washington and PSU are getting some 2016 afterglow here. **Homerism** - I have UF ranked a bit higher than other rankings. But if they get destroyed by the Wolverines expect them to drop, a lot. Everything else is just me looking at other rankings, doing some basic averaging, and then adding in my gut about where I think they are right now.**Bama/FSU note - unless the game turns out to be an absolute woodshedding by either team (or some other extenuating circumstance), I plan to put the winner at 1 and the loser at 2 next week. That's how close I think that they are right now and how little confidence I feel about the rest of the field at this stage. And OSU is playing Indiana, so they probably won't have much of a chance to show that they're demonstrably better than the other two. Ohio state *should* beat Indiana by a bunch. That's the expectation.
