Altmeyer is seriously underrated, and the returning production is only behind Clemson and maybe Penn State among the top 15 or so teams. Bielema ball is a much better fit in the B1G than it was in the SEC despite him stuffing Beamer in a locker last bowl season

If Illinois can just reach like 10-2/11-1 they should be in the playoffs. Only really difficult game on their schedule is Ohio State, and maybe if USC is good them too

quantum_jedi	25	I think this is unfairly low for the Illini, but the model does not like the overall dearth of stars. They return an excellent QB and are coming off a great season. They likely lack the top end talent to compete with the upper echelon of the B1G, but expect Illinois to be a tough out for anyone and have to another great season.
