bretticus33	4	Here's where the controversy really starts.├é┬á I've held steadfast for a handful of years that the CFP teams should all be conference champions; otherwise letting in teams that don't win their conference or even division really reduces the meaningfulness of conference champions if you can still get rewarded for failure there.├é┬á Baylor won the Big 12 by inches with their backup QB and while a Sugar Bowl likely awaits the Bears, they should be the 4th CFP team.

YellowSkarmory	5	There is a very significant gap in my opinion between the top four and everyone else, which is neat for the four team playoff. Anyway, Baylor has sneakily been building up a great resume; three great wins against BYU and Oklahoma at home and Oklahoma State on a neutral site are really solid, and honestly up there in the win department with some of the top 4; they also have some decent depth wins at KSU and vs. Iowa State. However, they did lose to Oklahoma State on the road earlier, and they had a really rough loss at TCU, which is probably the difference between them making and missing the playoff.├â┬é├é┬á

TheFlyingBoat	6	Due to lack of recruiting success on the trail, terrible performance last year, and a slow start to the season, the computers really do not like Baylor. But the eye test tells a different story. Aranda and co have really, really turned Baylor around and made them an incredibly disciplined and effective team. They had gone seven quarters without a single penalty and have managed to run their style of play to great effect, including 0 against a ranked BYU team. While I believe Oklahoma St is the better team it isn't by much, as I view Baylor's, Oklahoma State's, Ohio State's, and Michigan State's resumes as all roughly in the same tier. However, Baylor has a conference championship that none of the other four do and I use that tiebreaker to bump Baylor to the top of the pack.
