ColombianInIowa24 Ballot for 2023 Week 12

Ballot Type: Hybrid

Submitted: Nov. 13, 2023, 4:35 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Something, something computer with my intervention.

Rank Team Reason
Michigan Wolverines Dominant win over #18 Penn State without a coach proved them legit. Up next Maryland. Notable wins: #18 Penn State.
Washington Huskies Solid win over Utah keeps them up, defense does just what it needs to. Up next #22 Oregon State. Notable wins: #6 Oregon.
Ohio State Buckeyes Beat up Michigan... State. Up next Minnesota. Notable wins: #18 Penn State.
Florida State Seminoles Beat Miami (FL) by a less than convincing margin. Up next a cupcake.
Georgia Bulldogs The model told me in no uncertain terms (last week) that FSU is better than Georgia. I will not fight it. I do think the model should recalculate after a solid win over #19 Ole Miss in addition to #10 Mizzou. Up next, battered UT.
Oregon Ducks Beat USC as any respectable team should do. Up next desert chaos.
Texas Longhorns Limped by TCU in more pain, hopefully ISU can finish them off. Notable wins: #8 Alabama.
Alabama Crimson Tide Home stretch for Alabama on the outside looking in with a cupcake to boot. Notable wins: #19 Ole Miss.
Liberty Flames The flames skyrocket after an analysis revealed they are better than Mizzou and JMU. Huh? After beating up ODU they get the worst team in cfb.
Missouri Tigers Beat the overrated Tennessee Vols into submission to establish dominance over the state. Up next Florida. Notable wins: #21 Memphis.
Arizona Wildcats The highest three loss establishes itself as firmly better than the Dukes, despite a shaky win over Colorado. With a match against feisty Utah, Arizona wishes to spoil again.
James Madison Dukes Beat UConn. I was very sad when I found out they are worse than Liberty. Up next, GAMEDAY with App State.
Tulane Green Wave Terrible performances but hanging around as losses are what matter in the rankings. Notable wins: #21 Memphis.
Louisville Cardinals The cardinals survive Virginia, and are still hated for Pitt. What is new? Up next Miami.
Toledo Rockets Terrible loss to Illinois was finally enough for me to establish Louisville as superior. Up next, perhaps the only team I actually think can beat them in the MAC, Bowling Green.
Miami (OH) RedHawks WHAT DOES MY MODEL SEE IN THEM???? The supposed peak of the 2 losses.
Troy Trojans Forgives both loses. HTH, keeps KSU out. Up next Louisiana.
Penn State Nittany Lions Big game Franklin! Up next Rutgers. Notable wins: #23 Iowa.
Ole Miss Rebels Died to Georgia. Up next sad ULM. Notable wins: #13 Tulane.
Oklahoma Sooners Takes care of business against WVU while the upset ones don't. Up next BYU. Notable wins: #24 SMU, #7 Texas.
Memphis Tigers A win over Charlotte is enough to finally get them in with everyone else falling. Good quality losses! Up next #24 SMU.
Oregon State Beavers Killed Stanford. Up next #2 Washington to see if the Pac-12 is a two or three team race.
Iowa Hawkeyes A shutout with an actual offense gets them in. Up next Illinois.
SMU Mustangs Playing well to get in here. Unfortunately they shouldn't lose to TCU. Up next #21 Memphis.
Fresno State Bulldogs Terrible loss to SJSU is not enough to knock them out of the rankings with other movement. Also GTHC. Duke should've won that game if the refs were fair. Luckily UNC's losses are so bad they were never considered. *UNLV was knocked off due to HTH, no other reason. They are #26 by default.
