Overall Rationale: THIS IS A REPORT CARD. This poll is based on results and resume, and does not look at team talent, prior seasons, or anything like that. This poll is designed to combat poll inertia and human bias. The only human adjustments I use at this point in the season are between consecutively ranked teams with head-to-head matchups.

1 Washington Huskies Tier 1, the "Playoff Tier" consists of undefeated teams with multiple P5 wins and at least one ranked win. Washington sits at the top of my poll and in this tier, with 3 Ranked wins over Oregon, USC, and Utah and no FCS teams played to be 10-0, with 8 P5 wins and 2 G5 wins.
2 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State takes second in the Playoff Tier, with 2 Ranked wins over Notre Dame and Penn State to be 10-0. Ohio State has beaten 8 P5 teams, 1 G5 team, and 1 FCS team.
3 Georgia Bulldogs UGA is third in the Playoff Tier, with 2 Ranked wins over Missouri and Ole Miss to be 10-0. UGA has beaten 7 P5 teams, 2 G5 teams, and 1 FCS team.
4 Michigan Wolverines Michigan rounds out the Playoff Tier, with 1 Ranked win over Penn State to be 10-0.
5 Florida State Seminoles Tier 2 is made up of undefeated teams with multiple P5 wins and no ranked wins. FSU is the only team in this tier. FSU is 10-0 with no ranked wins.
6 Texas Longhorns Tier 3 is made up of teams with one or more Ranked wins, multiple P5 wins, and one loss. Texas has 7 P5 wins, including 2 Ranked wins over Alabama and Kansas, as well as 2 G5 wins and 1 Ranked loss to be 9-1 and sit atop this Tier.
7 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama sits second in Tier 3, with 7 P5 wins, including 2 Ranked wins over Ole Miss and Tennessee, as well as 2 G5 wins and 1 Ranked loss to be 9-1. Alabama sits behind Texas here due to the head-to-head loss.
8 Oregon Ducks Oregon takes third in Tier 3, with 7 P5 wins, including 2 Ranked wins over Utah and USC, as well as 1 G5 win, 1 FCS win, and 1 Ranked loss to be 9-1.
9 Louisville Cardinals Louisville rounds out Tier 3, with 8 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over Notre Dame, as well as 1 FCS win and 1 unranked loss to be 9-1.
10 Oklahoma Sooners Tier 4 consists of teams with multiple P5 wins, at least one ranked win, and two losses. Oklahoma has 5 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over Texas, as well as 3 G5 wins and 2 Ranked losses to be 8-2 with no FCS games played, and sit atop this Tier.
11 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State takes second in Tier 4, with 6 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over Iowa, as well as 1 G5 win, 1 FCS win, and 2 Ranked losses to be 8-2.
12 Missouri Tigers Mizzou takes third in Tier 4 with 5 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over Tennessee, as well as 2 G5 wins, 1 FCS win, and 2 losses, one ranked one unranked, to be 8-2.
13 Oregon State Beavers Oregon State rounds out Tier 4 with 5 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over Utah, as well as 2 G5 wins, 1 FCS win, and 2 unranked losses to be 8-2
14 James Madison Dukes Tier 5, the "G5 Contender Tier" is made up of undefeated teams with no ranked wins and one or less P5 win. JMU has 1 P5 win and is 10-0.
15 Liberty Flames Liberty takes second in Tier 5, with no P5 wins to be 10-0.
16 Ole Miss Rebels Tier 6 consists of teams with multiple P5 wins, no ranked wins, and two losses. Ole Miss has 6 P5 wins, 1 G5 win, 1 FCS win as well as 2 ranked losses to be 8-2.
17 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa takes second in Tier 6 with 6 P5 wins, 2 G5 wins, as well as 2 losses, one ranked one unranked, to be 8-2. They sit lower than Ole Miss due to strength of schedule.
18 North Carolina Tar Heels UNC takes third in Tier 6 with 7 P5 wins, 1 FCS win, as well as 2 unranked losses to be 8-2.
19 Fresno State Bulldogs Fresno rounds out Tier 6 with 2 P5 wins, 5 G5 wins, 1 FCS win, as well as 2 G5 losses to be 8-2. This is why you schedule multiple P5 teams, guys.
20 Oklahoma State Cowboys Tier 7 consists of teams with one or more Ranked wins, multiple P5 wins, and three losses. Oklahoma State has 6 P5 wins, including 2 Ranked wins over Kansas and Oklahoma, as well as 1 FCS win and 3 unranked losses to be 7-3.
21 Utah Utes Utah is second in Tier 7 with 6 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over USC, ass well as 1 FCS win and 3 ranked losses to be 7-3.
22 LSU Tigers LSU is third in Tier 7, with 5 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over Mizzou, as well as 1 G5 win, 1 FCS win, and 3 ranked losses to be 7-3.
23 Arizona Wildcats Arizona takes fourth in Tier 7, with 5 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over Oregon State, as well as 1 G5 win, 1 FCS win and 3 losses, two ranked and one unranked, to be 7-3.
24 Kansas Jayhawks Kansas takes fifth in Tier 7, with 5 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over Oklahoma, as well as 1 G5 win, 1 FCS win, and 3 losses, two ranked and one unranked, to be 7-3
25 Notre Dame Fighting Irish ND rounds out Tier 7 and also my poll, with 4 P5 wins, including 1 Ranked win over USC, as well as 2 G5 wins, 1 FCS win, and 3 losses, two ranked and one unranked, to be 7-3.
