1 Georgia Bulldogs There have been arguments for number 1 all season, but for this week I think Georgia put them to bed. Absolutely pummeling a solid Ole Miss team is just so impressive.
2 Michigan Wolverines The sign stealing story won't go away easily, but at the end of the day I personally will judge what happens on the field. And Michigan walked into State College without their head coach and pounding the rock and won.
3 Ohio State Buckeyes Another win for the Buckeyes, as now the collision course for an emotional and narrative-filled Game looms.
4 Washington Huskies Definitely not a sweat free win, but Washington does it again. Now they own multiple ranked wins, and that resume keeps them in 4th for me.
5 Florida State Seminoles A stress inducing win against Coral Gables U, but they got the win as they inch closer to a playoff spot.
6 Oregon Ducks Impressive win as they help keep USC reeling.
7 Texas Longhorns Second week in a row I felt shaky watching this team in the Fourth Quarter. But they got the job done.
8 Alabama Crimson Tide Impressive blowout of Kentucky. And now a matchup with Georgia is set in stone.
9 Louisville Cardinals Bad news, that game vs UVA was ugly. Good news: there's enough losses that they're top 10 even with the Pitt loss! And their slim playoff chances have life.
10 Oregon State Beavers ESPN are cowards not going to Corvallis.
11 Missouri Tigers Impressive win over Tennessee, and now an NY6 berth looks to be in sight for the Tigers
12 Penn State Nittany Lions 10-2 awaits again for Penn State.
13 Ole Miss Rebels Well, at least the Georgia game is over.
14 James Madison Dukes JMU keeps taking care of business, and now their campus gets the spotlight again.
15 LSU Tigers As a dejected Gator fan, definitely disappointed in the lack of defense from the Orange and Blue. That said, if Team Records block Jayden Daniels from winning the Heisman (an individual award) throw the award away. LSU may have 3 losses, but Daniels is a huge reason why they don't have more.
16 Utah Utes This season will always have a "what if" with Rising for better or for worse. Still a valiant effort in Seattle.
17 Kansas State Wildcats I was too hard on them last week and paid for it with the team I put in their spot collapsing (Fresno.) That's on me.
18 Oklahoma Sooners Good rebound win against West Virginia.
19 Arizona Wildcats I don't think words can describe the turnaround for this program, now at 7-3.
20 Tulane Green Wave They won another stress inducing game. Now a fun game against FAU awaits
21 Liberty Flames With Fresno's loss, the road gets a little clearer for an NY6 spot.
22 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Good to have a week off to forget about that Clemson game.
23 Oklahoma State Cowboys Beat KSU Kansas and Oklahoma. Get embarrassed by UCF, South Alabama, and an L to Iowa State. What?
24 North Carolina Tar Heels Thrilling win against Duke.
25 Iowa Hawkeyes An 8-2 record despite an allergy to offense definitely confounds me.
