1 Georgia Bulldogs If Georgia blasting Ole Miss the way they did wasn’t proof they’re CFB’s top team, I don’t know what would be.
2 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State just drops because Georgia surpasses them in resume and eye test.
3 Washington Huskies I mean what argument is there for Washington not being in the top 4? IMO, only Georgia and Ohio State have better overall resumes and Washington’s offense is still top 3 in the country. Beating Utah is still a good win.
4 Michigan Wolverines There we go. We were waiting for Michigan to play their first real test and while I think Penn State is overrated, it’s better than anyone else Michigan’s played. And they did it with coaching turmoil less than 24 hours before the game.
5 Florida State Seminoles It’s a rivalry win, but my goodness has Florida State just started… underwhelm? They still have wins over LSU and Clemson, but those haven’t aged as well and FSU needs some resume and eye test boosting.
6 Alabama Crimson Tide I know, I know… Alabama is over Texas despite Texas beating them in Week 2, but can you honestly tell me right now Texas is the better team? These teams are starting to go in opposite directions and Alabama is just turning into one of the scariest teams to play.
7 Texas Longhorns Texas survived TCU despite getting Quinn Ewers back. This is a team that’s due for a second loss and I don’t think they’re close to top 4.
8 Oregon Ducks Oregon really is rolling right now and Bo Nix is my Heisman front-runner. Really, Oregon, Bama, and Texas are all interchangeable at this point but overall resume leaves Oregon last IMO.
9 Louisville Cardinals Anybody thought we’d see top 10 Louisville this season? Maybe a sneaky playoff hopeful?
10 Oregon State Beavers Oregon State has a huge game and opportunity against Washington this weekend.
11 Missouri Tigers Anybody thought we’d see a fringe top 10 Missouri this season?
12 Ole Miss Rebels Yeah that didn’t go well for Ole Miss. They don’t drop much purely because I think Georgia is taht good.
13 James Madison Dukes Put James Madison in a bowl game. Put them in the NY6
14 Penn State Nittany Lions Is there a more overrated team and coach in the country than Penn State and James Franklin? Penn State doesn’t drop any further because at least their losses are to top 4 teams, but who has Penn State beaten?
15 Arizona Wildcats Best 3 loss team in the country? Best 3 loss team in the country.
16 Utah Utes Best 3 loss team in the country? We’ll find out when the Utes play Arizona next weekend.
17 Oklahoma Sooners That’s more like it from Oklahoma.
18 Liberty Flames As long as James Madison is ineligible, Liberty should be the front-runner for the NY6 spot if they go undefeated. I don’t care that their schedule is weaker; they only have so much control over their schedule. Going undefeated with the limited resources they have is fucking HARD and they should be rewarded.
19 Tulane Green Wave Honestly, I’m not even sure Tulane is the best team in their own conference, let alone the G5.
20 LSU Tigers If Jayden Daniels wasn’t a Tiger, LSU is nowhere near the top 25. He’s legitimately been the best QB in the country this season.

23 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa is interesting for all the wrong reasons.
24 Toledo Rockets Let’s give some recognition to the other top G5 teams. Toledo is 9-1 in the MAC and should be in NY6 contention. The Rockets are starting to run the MAC
