HHcougar Ballot for 2023 Week 9

Overall Rationale: My poll is a hybrid between a computer and a human poll. The formula combines a power ranking (which teams I think are the best), with a resume ranking (which teams I think have the best case to be ranked), and a computer ranking that calculates rankings based on a team point system (each team has a certain number of points and beating a team takes a portion of their points). Each sub-poll is given equal weight, and the final poll is derived from that. The first 3-4 weeks have drastic swings, but as more data is collected this evens out.

1 Ohio State Buckeyes Nearly a perfect score, Ohio State is #2 in my power ranking, #1 in my resume, and #1 in the computer (by a huge margin, that PSU W was immense).
2 Florida State Seminoles
3 Michigan Wolverines T-3 with Oklahoma, gets the nod because they're ranked higher in my Power Ranking
4 Oklahoma Sooners T-3 with Michigan, gets passed because they're ranked lower in my Power Ranking
5 Washington Huskies
6 Georgia Bulldogs As the computers like UGA more and more, they rise in the rankings.
7 Alabama Crimson Tide We saw both sides of Alabama last week. The mediocre Bama who couldn't put USF away, and the elite Bama who is still a playoff contender. Bama is still really, really, really good.
8 Texas Longhorns Texas squeaked by Houston, and luckily plays BYU during the day.
9 Oregon State Beavers Oregon State is ranked in the teens of all my rankings, but they add up to be #9. Oregon State isn't a top 10 team, but this is fun.
10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish
11 Oregon Ducks T-11 with Air Force. Oregon is a really talented team
12 Air Force Falcons T-11 with Oregon. I hope AFA goes undefeated, that would be so cool.
13 North Carolina Tar Heels A brutal loss nukes UNC
14 LSU Tigers Sheesh LSU. Where did Jayden Daniels come from? He was so pedestrian at ASU.
15 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State drops to unranked by my computer, which is brutal. They're still a very good team.
16 James Madison Dukes JMU just keeps winning
17 Utah Utes Utah squeaked by some mediocre games and finally figured out how to offense.
18 Liberty Flames Liberty is unranked in my power ranking, but being undefeated has boosted their computer ranking like crazy.
19 Missouri Tigers
20 Ole Miss Rebels
21 Tennessee Volunteers
22 Louisville Cardinals
23 Virginia Cavaliers ....wait, what? UVA is unranked (obviously) in my power ranking and my resume ranking, but they suctioned off soooo many points from UNC in the computer that they're ranked #15 in the computer. What on earth?
24 Oklahoma State Cowboys Well, this is surprising, but Oklahoma State is well-liked by the computers, and their turnaround this year has been phenomenal.
