Overall Rationale: Hybrid of Power Rankings/Personal Opinion. Heavy weight on overall SOS and current momentum/strength.

1 Michigan Wolverines I think the game changer for Michigan is the ability to adjust. Able to hang with OSU with just 8 Rush Yd in the 1st Half (which should be the bread and butter of this team), but opened up passing game showing a lot of maturity and balance overall. Easy choice.
2 Georgia Bulldogs Has allowed almost every team they've played to hang around for a little too long, really showed against GT. Definitely a Playoff team, but needs to be more consistent.
3 USC Trojans Caleb for Heisman. Defense showed improvement. Can they avenge the Utah loss? I think so.
4 TCU Horned Frogs Stayed Undefeated. Solid and balanced performance.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Deserve open playoff spot if presented with one. Still elite.
6 Alabama Crimson Tide Honestly, I dont even know how to rate these guys this year. Only thing they have going for them is that both losses came on last second plays.
7 Kansas State Wildcats Playing really solid football. Underrated team, TCU is on upset alert this week.
8 Tennessee Volunteers With Hooker i would have them at 6. Not really sure where to put these guys right now. Only behind KSU due to Momentum and Power Ranking mentality.
9 Washington Huskies Great resume.
10 Oregon State Beavers Power, momentum, and more power. One of the better defenses, quality losses and now quality wins. Only ahead of PSU because why not? Its fun. But really just power ranking, one of the biggest wins in program history especially when it comes over the Ducks.
11 Oregon Ducks Still so explosive, bad play calling.
12 Penn State Nittany Lions Still hesitate putting PSU very high. No STATEMENT wins on resume. Quality football team.... any higher than 10 though? not sure. Give me one win that tells me they should be top 10. Minnesota? Purdue? Love these guys, but got dominated by UM, and blew it at home to OSU. You gotta play some more quality teams and beat them.
13 Utah Utes Not sure where to put these guys. One of the most consistent football teams in the country.
14 South Carolina Gamecocks Honestly, i just love this Beamer Ball hype. DOMINATE performances against top teams. Deserve this ranking after an Up and Down year but this is the end of the season, and they are playing like this.
15 LSU Tigers Terrible, terrible, loss.
16 Florida State Seminoles A lot of momentum, has a star in the making at QB, FSU is slowly coming back. Doesnt have many quality W's, but on a great streak.
17 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Still have hope for these guys. Turned out to be pretty good.
18 Clemson Tigers Still good, not great.
19 Tulane Green Wave Love em', Lets beat UCF
20 Texas Longhorns Win some close games.
21 UCLA Bruins Still not buying the UCLA train. Have looked somewhat weak late season.
22 South Alabama Jaguars 10-2 with a 1 point loss @UCLA and 4 pt Loss to Troy. MY DARKHORSE for the G5. Severely underrated and deserving of a top 25 ranking.
23 North Carolina Tar Heels Disban the ACC
24 Troy Trojans Another Underrated G5. Great defense. Beat South Alabama, with only 2 losses coming @Ole Miss and a close one @App State. 9 game win streak. Will win SBC Champ.
25 UTSA Roadrunners A lot of close games. Some against quality opponents. My favorite to win the C-USA Champ.
