1 Michigan Wolverines Michigan has the best win of the year and frankly I find them more consistent than Georgia.
2 Georgia Bulldogs Most talented team right now, but plays down to their competition far too often.
3 TCU Horned Frogs Big blow out win. Honestly though am really nervous about them playing K-State again
4 USC Trojans Back to back massive wins. Firmly in the "win and in" conversation.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Gave up way too many big plays. Game was closer than the final score and I do think Ohio State wins that half the time. Easily the most deserving team not in the top 4.
6 Washington Huskies I know i am way higher on the Huskies than others, but to me they are a dominant offensive football team after one year under Deboer. The loss against Arizona St is why they're not a playoff team right now, but they're playing world's better than they were then.
7 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn St is a fringe elite team now. They have losses against two elite teams and have handled business outside of that.
8 Tennessee Volunteers Without Hendon Hooker the Vols should be lower than this, but still have to admire what they did this season.
9 Alabama Crimson Tide Honestly this is probably the worst Bama team we have seen in a hot minute. They're a really good team, but they're not a great one. Play calling is suspect and the penalty situation is insane.
10 Kansas State Wildcats K-State doesnt have a loss that makes you really scratch your head. All were close games against top-25 teams. Tulane at a point was a head scratcher but that narrative has changed.
11 Utah Utes Utah is a few critical plays away from being in the playoff discussion and is much better than they were when they lost to Florida.
12 Clemson Tigers I want to like Clemson more than this. I really do, but they simply haven't blown me away yet. Their schedule is rather weak and with exception to the Florida St win nothing stands out. They're not as dominant as past Tiger teams
13 Florida State Seminoles The Noles might be one of the hotter teams in the country right now. They're playing solid ball would avenge all of their losses in rematches.
14 LSU Tigers Really embarrassing loss and haven't played fantastic since beating Alabama.
15 Oregon State Beavers Took one hell of a comeback to get here, but the Beavs are as scrappy as they come.
16 Oregon Ducks What a meltdown...not a great way to end the year with losses to both of their primary rivals.
17 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Not going to knock the Irish too much for losing to SC. This is a much improved team from the start of the year.
18 South Carolina Gamecocks Holy hell SC is hot right now. Back to back massive wins. Beamer has momentum going into 23.
19 UCLA Bruins Feels like the air is out of the balloon with the loss to USC. Looked sloppy against Cal.
20 Tulane Green Wave AAC championship bound! Look to be the G5 favorite to get to a Ny6 bowl. Rumors of Fritz leaving is a bummer though.
21 Texas Longhorns I honestly think Texas should be higher up than this, but their resume doesn't match that. Talent wise this is a top-15 team.
22 Troy Trojans Been on an absolute roll following a shaky start to the year.
23 North Carolina Tar Heels Late season collapse kind of sucks as UNC is really fun to watch. Hope they beat Clemson if I am honest.
24 Boise State Broncos Another team who's really hot down the stretch. Chance for another 10 win season
25 UTSA Roadrunners Meep.
